Hi all
Today I was going through a few blogs and I came across a post on RCI at asan khana. The blogger was referring to a RCI Punjab roundup on a blog called Cooking Station. RCI Punjab was hosted by Richa of As Dear As Salt way back in June 2007.
I am not aware of this parallel RCI event going on. I am not in anyway connected with this. I am not sure who initiated this event either.
So, is there a plagiarism going on with blog events too? I thought it was only the photos that were being taken!

hi lakshmi,..i am just guest host...will speak to lakshmi my friend whp started this event..thanks for telling...
Dear Lakshmi, RCI was not plagiarised rather inspired us so I hosted it for Singapore Women's Club. Since all the recipes was blogged in my blog for the conviniance of the club members to access the recipes. Since few international bloggers showed interest to participate I accepted their entries. I am really saddened to see that instead of approaching me first to clarify the doubts you have blogged it. You event was always a inspiration. I do not like to steal away the credits you have recieved for this event. I am changing the name of the event. But, my request would be to approach the blogger first for the clarification. Thanks for your understanding.

You can refer it here.
Yeah... I pointed it out and they told me I was welcome to participate in theirs too... as if that was the solution!
I know! I got confused too but this event is for Singaporean Indians, I think. They shouldn't have used the RCI title though!
RCI is not patented! Besides what is wrong if someone uses that term - "Regional Cuisine of India" - it is so general! Please stop being virtually territorial and grow up!
hello! do we know what's happening to rci goa? thanks!
